I immediately put out my phone when I saw this beautiful views. I was speechless once saw these pictures. The view was pure, not editing. This picture was taken this morning when we were in our way back to train from NAFA Fun Day. This is located near the beach station, the segway counter. I wanna bring my brother here to see the scenery and try all the games.

(TRULY) FUN DAY
NAFA Fun Day 2013-Summer Love. Today was really fun day for me although I have to woke up at 7.30 am. NAFA held an event at Siloso Beach and create many stands of games. They also provide lunch, ice cream and water bottle. I was very happy because it's been a long time since my last time playing on the beach. We take a lot of pictures. The fun day was really fun because there was my bestie there. We have tried to ride the segway. It was so much fun. Then we went to Daiso to bought our stuff before we back home. Today was pretty fun.

Last Minute Ramen
I wouldn't cook this ramen if the boys didn't finished up all my dinner. Having a childish neighbours is annoying. Three of them are secondary students but their minds just like a kindergarten. They finished up all the dinner without thinking of us whether we have eat or not. But fortunately I have korean instant noodle in my house so I made my dinner myself. I still remember actually I was in a rush that time to met my grandpa. But I have to made my own dinner, then I came late and can't find my Grandpa. I met my Grandpa on the next day.
Invisible Bookshelf
Common bookshelf is made of wood, aluminium, etc; and it's concrete. The colors may be different, depends on individual taste. But this picture shows the differences from the common bookshelf. This one is invisible. So when you put your books there, it visually looks like flying books on the wall. But actually the buffer is a right angle made of stainless steel and a fake book for the bottom side. So I think this bookshelf is totally different and creative.
LIKE FATHER LIKE SON
Like Father, Like Son
That's the description of this picture.
There are my father and my youngest brother.
Both of them are really similar in many things.
The ways they sleep, they eat, they sit, they dressing are all the same.
The picture was taken by my auntie at Kuala Namu International Airport when they were waiting for my departure to Singapore a week ago.
I can't wait to meet them on this 19th.

BIRTHDAY SURPRISE
The most unforgettable birthday from my friends. This was the best birthday surprise I have ever had. All of them woke up early and came to my house. They had told my mother the night before. They wait until I woke up, but unfortunately I didn't woke up at all. XD
Then all of them just enter my room while I was sleeping with my messy hair and ugly face. I was very shocked while they sang a happy birthday song and gave me my favorite cake, Rainbow Cake. Some of them took pictures of my messy face. They were very happy to saw my morning face. Then they keep teasing on me. The best surprise ever!
OOVOO-ing
True friendship is not being unseparable. It's being separated and nothing changes.
My best friends are the only person who never get tired of listening to my own pointless dramas over and over again.
Want to know who your true friend are? Mess up and see who's still there.
They are the people who make your problems their problem, just so you don't have to go through them alone.
I don't care if it's 4 am, you're my best friend and I'll be there for you.
That's what I can tell when saw this picture.
ALVABETHIST
Friends are hard to find. In a lifetime you get only a few. And when you find them, you always know them by sight and heart alone, you always grow a little bit taller in your soul, and you know you have been blesse just to know them.
-Ashley Rice-
A bestfriend is not someone who is just there for you. It's someone who understands you a bit more than you understand yourself.
Don't expect your friend to be a perfect person. But, help your friend to become a perfect person. That's true friendship.
Comfort Zone
This is my living room. My father designed it himself. All of the beer bottle are him. He likes to buy beer and collect the bottle. My father is a furniture maker so that I become interested in interior design. He taught me a lots from his experiences. Every corner in my house was designed by him. The living room is my favorite corner. When I was in high school, I always study there. A lots of memories already established there.
Back Home - part 6
Where there is a meeting, there is also a separation.
Spending three days in Medan was never enough.
Time flies so fast.
But I have to back to Singapore to continue my daily life here.
Sitting alone in the airplane was my first experience.
I still remember that time when I cried alone in my seat next to the window and an auntie told her husband that I was crying. I was so embarrassed. But I can't back my tears.
One thing that makes me feel better is SKYPE.
Skype with my family and friends, that makes me not alone and feels like there is no distance between us.
Thanks for whoever that create this great social network.
Nowadays, no matter how far you are, you can still glances with the one you love.
Back Home - part 5
One of the memorable moments from my arrival to Medan was meeting my high school friends. They are the precious one for me. I can't describe our friendship but one thing, distance doesn't matter for our friendship. We still act like a weirdo to each other and tease each other. They asked me to hang out for dinner, but I think it's better if we spend the time in my house. Because my house usually was our quarters, we did BBQ frequently and all of them comfortable in my house. Not all of them came to gather this time but I was very pleased enjoying that Saturday night. One thing they don't like from me is my habit of late. I realized that. They have been waiting for me for a long time outside my house, but they keep waiting. I love you, Guys. They are also my supporters, in addition to my family. See you Guys when I see you again. :D

Back Home - part 4
These were my usual activity on Monday when I was in Medan; having a breakfast together at our favorite restaurant, called "KIM ONG" and teaching Sunday Class. We went to Cemara Residence in the morning because there were a lot of stand that sell shoes, clothes, etc. Then we went to the restaurant to have a breakfast. At 9, we bring my sister to the temple because she was going to teach the Sunday class. She was the one who replaced my position as Sunday class teacher since my departure to Singapore.

Back Home - part 3
Checking around my garden was one thing that can not miss. My parents love gardening. When I was stay in Medan, sometimes I help my mom to mow. Then. monthly my mom sent a gardener to maintain and spruce up the garden. There was a frangipani flower of my mom. I love seeing this flower for a long time. There was also my parents' lime plant. Both of them plant it together. Sometimes if my mom need a lime for cooking or making lime juice, she just asked my sister to pluck from outside, Seemed like my parents were farmers.

Back Home - part 2
Second day in Medan was great. I miss all of them ; my family, my friends, my house, and also the situation around my house. I walked to the outside and took this pictures. Nothing has changed. I still feel the excitement even though I was standing alone outside. I miss this morning greetings. There was my father's car. He was keeping the things he had as well as possible. He loves to modified his car. But I admit that his car is the most dashing in Medan, I never seen the car like this before.

Back Home - part 1
Coming back home after two months staying overseas was very exciting. My arrival was not known by anyone, except both of my parents. My father was the director for this surprise, he was the one who plans this. My parents bought me ticket because they know I was homesick that time. Once again, I am very grateful to have them. Once I arrived at my Grandma's house, all of my sisters and brother are busy with their own activity. But someone came and spoil all our surprise. But the thing I did not expect was my sisters' expression. Both of them crying after realize my arrival. LOL. My youngest brother just looked at me with a shocked.

SUSHI LOVER
Nothing better than stay at home on the weekends and spend the time with family, because on the week-day each of us was busy with our own activity. I am very proud of my mother because she is a great woman that able to utilize the free time to make us feel the warmth in the family.Usually my mom will arrange a time for us to cooking or baking together in our lovely kitchen. All the family member will take part in the cooking activity, even my father and my brother. All of us greatly enjoyed the weekend we spent together. I miss that moment badly. But it all can be treated with a visit from my family to Singapore on this 19th October. :D
We usually make this kind of sushi together. The funniest thing is the sushi always consumed prematurely. This moment make me like eating sushi. When NAFA created a flea market, there was a stand that sells homemade sushi. It reminds me of my mom's sushi so I bought the sushi.

The Views from My Room Window
Every weekend is the most pleasant day for me. The day that I don't need to go out from my room and doing my homework. Actually I'm not the one who really like to stay at home and doing homework, but that's a must for me to done my homework. I wake up at 8.30 on weekends. Take a bath and then starts doing my homework. The pleasant thing that makes me passion for doing my homework is the view of my room window. The best thing is because my desk faces the window directly, so it gives me a calm, peaceful, and comfortable view for doing my homework.

THREE QUARTERS OF A CENTURY
This is an artwork of Hong Sek Chern, Another Sunny Afternoon. She was graduated from NAFA and went on to complete a MFA at Goldsmiths College (UK). Her work, which is primarily rendered in Chinese Ink, explores issues relating to urban environments. It was so interesting because the artist was using chinese ink on rice paper to create a perspective drawing, while others commonly using a pen and ruler in perspective drawing. The painting was created based on the idea of taking a walk. The artist did her 'walk' with Google Map Streetview; tracing and painting over the buildings via computer screen to create scenery. I think the process was really creative. So, the conclusion is reflective writing or artist statement is so important because people nowadays want to know the creative process behind the great artwork.

ALEXANDER LUMSDEN
Very Fortunate to attend the workshop which has limited seating. This is a oil paintings workshop made by NAFA by presenting Swedian artist, Alexander Lumsden. He showed us how to using oil paintings and comparing the types of materials as well. He gave us a paper to tried the different kinds of oil paintings. Most participants were students of my class so we decided to take a photo with the artist. One of my unforgettable workshop in NAFA. I have learnt oil paintings method from this workshop and became interested in using oil paintings as my drawing methods.
